Olay Fresh Effects Review

I have been using Olay products for most of my life. My mom has always used them so she kind of passed them down to me. This brand is my go to drugstore skin care. One of the most important things for me is for whatever product I use not to break me out. And this brand has not failed me once. Plus every product they come out with is very affordable. So the other day when I was walking through Target, The new Fresh Effects line caught my eye. The packaging is super cute and bright. Definitely stands out. I purchased their BB cream and their anti-shine cleanser. 

I've tried multiple BB creams and have not been a fan of any of them, until now. First off it's 2.5 oz for $12.99. All the other BB creams I've tried they are all only around 1 oz or so for the same price. This BB cream smells amazing. Fruity with a hint of cucumber. Pretty good coverage for me. It's quick absorbing, has rich texture and is creamy. 

I am also really enjoying the Fresh Effects shine reducing cleanser. I have very oily skin and this cleanser helps keep the shine away all day. Once again the smell is amazing and this made my face feel very soft. A little goes a long way with this product so I feel that this one bottle will last for quite a while. Very affordable @ $5.99.

Ooey Gooey Butter Cake Bars

This is by far the easiest dessert I have ever made. I used a yellow cake mix but I'm sure any flavor would taste just as good. These bars are rich and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness. Happy eating.

Ingredients:

• 1 cake mix
• 1 stick of butter
• 8 oz of cream cheese
• 3 eggs
• 16 oz of powdered sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper.

Cream together cake mix, stick of butter and 1 egg.

It will be dough consistency. 

Pat into bottom of your pan.

Mix together cream cheese, 2 eggs, vanilla and powdered sugar.

Pour over cake mix.

Bake @ 350 degrees for 45 min or until edges are brown.

So yummy.
