Hi friends! It's been forever since I've done a blog post. I'd like to jump back in with a review of my 1st Ipsy bag. If you are not familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription where they send you 4-5 deluxe -sized samples or some full size beauty (makeup, skincare, haircare and nail nailcare) products in a cute makeup bag. The subscription costs only $10 a month. It's a great way to try out products without having to buy the full size. Click the link below if you are interested in signing up. There may be a waiting list so I would suggest signing up soon. I think I had to wait about a month to get my first bag.
If I were to buy all of these products individulally it would cost me about $70. So $10 is a great deal to try out new products. This months bag included:
- Nailtini Nail Laquer in Champagne-Full Size
- bhcosmetics Galaxy Chic Baked Eyeshadow in Sun-Sample Size
- Be a Bombshell Lip Crayon in Shameless-Full Size
- Pixi Bronzer in Subtly Suntouched-Sample Size(large sample)
- em Lash Gallery Mascara in Black-Full size (em is Michelle Phan's new makeup line. She also the one who created Ipsy).
Nailtini in Champagne. Beautiful color and long wearing. I've had it on my nails for almost 5 days and no chipping.
bhcosmetics Baked Eyeshadow in Sun. Such a beautiful color. It's a warm gold with a little red intertwined. Super pigmented and you can apply these shadows either wet or dry. I was so impressed that I ordered the whole palette.
Be a Bombshell Lip Crayon in Shameless. Very pretty berry/wine color with slight shimmer. Very long wearing and a great color for Fall/Winter.
Pixi Bronzer in Subtly Suntouched. Pretty natural color. This bronzer is very light. I'm pretty fair skinned and I don't think I can bronze with this, it's just too light to really bronze my face but I have liked using it as a natural blush.
em Lash Gallery Mascara in Black. This a volumizing mascara. I really liked it. It gave me great volume, didn't flake and separated my lashed nicely.
Overall I'm very satisfied with my first bag and am excited about future bags.
